A History of Schleich Toys
Schleich Toys is a German company that produces both children’s and educational toys. Their line of toys include building blocks, play vehicles, puzzles, and many others. Although the majority of their line of toys has been classics for children over the years, the company prides itself on adding new and innovative toys all the time. Although it is rare to find any flaws in any of the toys, there is still some controversy surrounding the toy industry regarding the safety of the chemicals used during manufacturing.
In 2021, Schleich Toys introduced a line of “dummy” figures with a twist: the dolls were made to look like real wild animals, including all four legs, eyes, and head. The company quickly became popular in Europe and the United States because of the positive feedback that the “dummy” figure received from parents and kids. In addition to the dolls, Schleich Toys offers a large variety of building blocks, puzzles, animals, play vehicles, and other play materials for your children to play with. The company does not sell toys to children under three years old, and if you purchase any toys from Schleich Toys, you must be age three or older.
Schleich is the largest toy manufacturers in Germany and currently produces more than ten million tons annually. As a family owned business, the company strives to always create new, innovative products that children will enjoy and treasure. Some of the figures they produce are geared towards specific age groups, while others are not age specific. Although toy safety regulations have not changed in fifteen years, companies like Schleich Toys are dedicated to using only the safest and most durable plastic that has passed all tests by government agencies around the world.
