Hertz President Circle Gets a Guarantee That You Won’t Be Arrested More Than Once Per Year

BOCA RATON — Hertz has added a new perk to its President Circle loyalty program that’s already garnering praise on social media. The company’s top-tier elite members now get a guarantee that they won’t be arrested more than once per year when renting cars from Hertz.

Who is in the presidents circle?

Hertz President Circle is a loyalty program for frequent renters that rewards them with free upgrades, extra points, and expedited car pick-up. The status is available to Gold Plus Rewards members who earn 20 qualifying Hertz rentals in a calendar year or more. You can also reach the status by getting a credit card that offers hertz president’s circle phone number. The Capital One Venture X and American Express Platinum cards offer the status to their cardholders, with the latter granting the benefit to five additional people on a rental when they book an intermediate/midsize car or higher.

Hertz eReturn is a service that allows you to drive your vehicle off the lot and back to an open return lane with no hassle. Hertz says this is designed to reduce time waste and save you from having to wait at the counter while an agent assesses your car. President Circle members can also enjoy this service for free, along with the ability to add a domestic or spouse driver at no charge.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members can also earn bonus SkyMiles on Hertz rentals when they credit the rental to Delta. The top-tier Diamond Medallion gets eight miles per dollar spent on Hertz rentals, while Gold and Platinum Medallion members earn seven and six miles respectively.
